About the Artist
Amy LaFollette is an artist and printmaker from High View, West Virginia. She draws inspiration from nature, specifically local flora and fauna. With nature as her muse, she brings these subjects to life through printmaking.
What Amy strives to convey through her printmaking is a sense of presence. To be present in the moment, and capture movement on the paper. By carving a linoleum block, she creates motion that is infused into each final print. Her artwork is reminder to slow down, and enjoy the details in life.
